Our Story
Sadguru Oil comes from the heart of coconut country — Belthangady Taluk in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka — a green, rain-fed region where coconut palms have shaped the land, the food and the way of life for generations.
We make coconut oil the way it has always been made here: the slow, traditional, cold-pressed way. We begin with mature, sun-ripened coconuts, dry them naturally, and press them in small batches without heat treatment, refining or chemicals. Nothing is added and nothing is stripped away — no preservatives, no additives, no shortcuts. What you pour is pure coconut oil, rich in natural aroma and goodness, exactly as your grandmother would recognise it.
Because it is genuinely cold-pressed and unrefined, our oil naturally solidifies in cooler weather — a simple, honest sign of its purity.
Our mission is straightforward: to bring pure, farm-to-home coconut oil from the groves of Belthangady to kitchens across India, and to keep alive a traditional milling heritage that too many have forgotten. Every bottle supports local coconut farming and the time-honoured craft of small-batch oil pressing.
Whether you use it for everyday cooking, for nourishing hair and skin, or for the daily rituals passed down in your family, we want Sadguru Oil to be the pure, trustworthy choice you reach for again and again.
*Sadguru Oil is committed to following food-safety standards for edible oil.*
